James Walmsley

After graduating from London University with a degree in Economics, he joined the automotive industry specialising in Human Resources. Following a period in the packaging industry he took time out to do his MBA. After this he spent several years with a blue chip international transportation and property group focusing on world wide recruitment and management development at senior levels.

He spent 10 years in the Middle East in different companies doing a variety of Human Resources roles. Amongst those positions, he was responsible for training, management development and recruitment for an oil and gas company. Ultimately he was on the Board of an Arab Bank with responsibility for human resources and finance, over four continents.

He moved into Executive Search in 1987, and is the founder of NMC-Ennismore which he and others started in 1991.

J. Michael Watson

An engineering graduate from Cambridge University, Mike Watson has vast experience over 30 years in the engineering and technology industries holding a variety of senior managerial and board positions in Europe and the USA. His last full time appointment was as Chief Executive of a private software systems business which he sold on behalf of the founders in 1999.

Mike now provides advisory services to companies and is on the board of two AIM listed technology based companies.

Mike is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, a member of the British Computer Society and he was granted livery statue of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists in 1992.

Robert Verey

After gaining a degree in Estate Management, he later passed his professional examinations to become a Chartered Surveyor. During this period he worked for a well respected property company in the Investment Department advising institutional clients, insurance companies and private investors on the acquisition or disposal of their commercial properties.

Following this he was the co-founder of a sporting lifestyle clothing company. The company had retail outlets in major locations including London. As well as retailing, the company supplied a large number of corporate clients and wholesaled to other retailers. It also retailed at prestigious sporting events and supplied customers via the internet and through mail order sales. Robert was involved in all aspects of running the company, from sales forecasting to setting purchasing budgets. He was involved in the design, production and quality aspects of clothing ranges. He sold the business after 12 years and started a property development business focussing on refurbishing upmarket country properties.

Moving into recruitment consultancy, he brings knowledge of commercial property, construction, and retail.
