NMC Lisbon works only on behalf of its clients. We have significant Executive Search experience in all major sectors. However, we focus our services only on a very limited number of companies of the same industry or business sector to ensure confidentiality and exclusivity.

Job Profile

Following the inventory and analysis, we draw up a job profile that contains all the qualities and requirements for the position in question. Once the client has approved this profile, the search process commences.

Assessing the situation

Our Executive Search process starts with an assessment of our client's human resource and organisational situation. To obtain a clear picture of the vacancy to be filled, our Executive Search starts by studying the client's organisation. It is essential not only to understand the facts about the company and the functional competencies required for fulfilling the assignment, but also to comprehend the culture of the company and the key intangible ingredients that constitute the ideal match between the company and the candidate.

Objective criteria include the mission statement, the company's position in the industry, its goals and action plans, its structure, the job specification and remuneration, terms and conditions. Subjective criteria essential to the understanding of the company include the company image, company culture, its working climate, internal politics and the company's expectations for the future. The results of this comprehensive company research are the basis of the subsequent search activities.

Searching and sourcing

NMC Lisbon employs various Executive Search tools simultaneously. Initially, our excellently equipped research department compiles a broad selection of target industries and target companies. This involves a meticulously created database containing personal and professional data of approximately 50,000 (potential) top executives in Europe. In the next step, one of our search officers contacts potential candidates found in our network system or by references who are another source for finding the right candidate, supported by our database.
